Rainbow Writing

"Colour has always been used in the process of teaching V.C.O.P and 'Big Writing'. Traditionally, it has always been recommended that pupils should use colour in the self assessment process (AfL - Assessment for Learning) through the use of highlighters to identify strengths in their work.

Rainbow Writing complements and extends the V.C.O.P. work from 'Big Writing', although the colours are used differently. The Rainbow Writing approach potentially provides strong visual links and solutions for pupils who are bilingual or for whom visual learning is a preferred style."
