Big Maths Learn Its Jingles

There are an infinite amount of number facts in the world. The fact that 963 multiplied by 748 equals 720,324 is indeed a fact, but it isn't worth remembering! Since there are only a few number facts we expect children to learn, it is actually more helpful to call those ones 'Learn Its'. This provides a message to children (i.e. 'Learn it!') as well as an accurate label for the subset of facts that need memorising.

This disc provides lively, engaging, music covering all the 'Learn Its' (from 2 + 2 up to 9 + 9) that children can sing and dance along to. If a child learns to sing and dance along to the jingle then they are also memorising the fact... and enjoying the music and movement as they go!

This disc also includes 5 test timers, complete with jingles. With their entertaining music and visual stimuli, these timers can be used to help your pupils actually enjoy their weekly 'Big Maths' test!

Remember: Learning addition facts is much more difficult for children than learning tables facts because addition facts do not appear in a nice neat table with other related facts next to them as tables facts do.
