Leadership & Management of 'Big Writing'

Tracey has worked in education for nineteen years, of which fifteen have been in senior management and independent consultancy. As Acting Headteacher of three years, Tracey led her school through a very successful Ofsted and gained very good and excellent grades for her teaching. Of her leadership Ofsted stated, 'The acting head teacher provides strong leadership and clear educational direction for the work of the school.'

As an NCSL consultant Tracey has specialized in leadership and management development and has a a wide range of experience including: NPQH coach and graduate board member, Leading from the Middle and Leadership Pathways mentor and facilitator, Early Headship Provision (New Visions) and Certificate of Business Management (CSBM). She is also a former Ofsted team inspector.

It was through her work in supporting and appraising headteachers that Tracey came to 'Big Writing'. She has worked closely with Ros Wilson for a number of years and has developed this course following a wide range of observations in schools and discussions with senior leaders. She has become a powerful advocate in delivering the course for Andrell Education and is a confident, articulate and witty presenter.
