After holding a successful inset day Denise wanted to comment on how VCOP has helped with their activities in the classroom.

We had an excellent speaker at our school last week who inspired me further in teaching writing. We've already learnt the V,C, VCO, VCOP, YIPPEE chant, and the visual hand signs. Yesterday I found myself drawing a question mark in the air most times I asked the class something! Vocabulary is increasing by the day, and we're adding to our 'working wall' already. It will continue as I like it, and so do the children, so there's a natural insentive to carry on. The children have been told which chair belongs to Mojo, and were quite concerned that he didn't come outside for the fire drill!!! Hey ho!

Carry on the excellent work, and I'll carry on enjoying my teaching, including BIG write. Denise Gregory
